TELLEF JOHNSON
is a writer and director of Scandinavian descent who also composes and conducts the music to his films. Building on classic film styles, Tellef is concerned with pushing the dramatic limits of cinema while entertaining international audiences with visceral human stories.

He attended graduate studies at New York's Juilliard School and received grants from the Archibald Bush Foundation to shoot short dramatic films on 35mm on which he wrote, directed, composed the score and served as cinematographer.

Tellef and producing partner Reka Leszay founded Execution Dependent Films to make exciting, powerful and unpredictable films for global audiences. Their next project is a is a wild dramatic "fish-out-of-water" epic about the world's first filmmakers that utilizes a myriad of filming techniques on a variety of different film formats.
